Interview: Harrison Prime, Cosmic Land Studios






I spoke to Harrison Prime, young writer and artist, creator of science fiction comics Meta 6 and The Gold Bullet, who is based in Lagos, Nigeria.


We discussed the African comic scene, how culture, politics and diversity come into play, and how technology is shaping our world. An artist always creates work that is deeply personal, and especially so in Harrison's case. What does the future hold for the comics scene in Africa, and the world?

Claire is pregnant, and there are complications: the Earth is a radioactive dystopia filled with ferocious mutations and everyone else on the planet is sterile. The tiny miracle inside her has made her a target...
